Chapter 9: Persuading Consumers through Messaging

This chapter was exciting because we get into the level of selling when it comes to marketing. There was an emphasis on all different levels of communication. The one that I would like to shine the light on would be one-to-one communication, which is defined as truly personalized, it is the most labor-intensive form of communication and likely the most effective form. Based on my personal experience one-to-one communication has always been the best way to communicate.

The movie that I found to represent this technique the best is The Founder. The certain scene in which he is getting the one on one interaction with the owners of McDonald’s. The interaction was so intimate that it made him understand the actuality of the business, which of course influenced to become what that franchise is today.
